The HomeShanti's Counsellors Conference 2026 is a three-day conference designed to equip Christian counsellors, and mental health professionals to strengthen the emotional, spiritual, and psychological wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families. The conference is centred around the theme, “Equipping Counsellors, Empowering Families: Building Mental Health and Resilience in the Next Generation.”

Keynote Speakers
Founding Directors, Urban India Ministries
Dr. P. C. Mathew and Mrs. Ciby Mathew are the founding directors of Urban India Ministries (UIM), a leading Christian family ministry in Bangalore dedicated to family life education and counselling. Dr. Mathew is the Executive Director of UIM, Dean of the UIM–Family Research and Training Institute, and Global Director of WEA–Family Challenge. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary, USA, and a PhD from Martin Luther Christian University. Mrs. Ciby Mathew, a family-life educator and counsellor, is currently completing her PhD in Psychology. Together, they have equipped families and church leaders across India and South Asia through research, training, and ministry.

Psychologist & OD Consultant
Dr. Jemima Wesley is a psychologist, NBCC-certified counsellor (USA), organizational development consultant, and founder of Limitless. She holds a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College and a PhD in Counselling and Psychological Studies from Regent University. Trained in trauma-informed psychotherapy, play therapy, and behavioural analysis, she has counselled individuals, couples, leaders, and organizations for over two decades.

Counsellor, Psychologist & Apologist
Dr. Charles Premkumar Joseph is a counsellor, psychologist, apologist, and cardio-pulmonary physical therapist based in Vellore. He holds a Master's in Psychology and is completing his Master's in Apologetics from Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. After serving at CMC Vellore, he worked with RZIM and Reasons to Believe (RTB) as Consultant-Director for Apologetics and Research in the Asia-Pacific region. He is also the founder of Think CHRIST Apologetics.

Head of HomeShanti
Mrs. Olive Nagarajan is the Director of HomeShanti, the counselling wing of Urban India Ministries, and has served as a counsellor for over 15 years. She conducts workshops on counselling, art therapy, parenting, and emotional well-being in schools, colleges, and churches. She also teaches postgraduate courses in counselling and provides supervision and mentorship to counsellors in training. She holds a B.Sc., a Diploma in Family Education and Counselling, and an M.Sc. in Psychology.

Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood near SAIACS, Bengaluru, the UIM Family Education Center provides a peaceful, purpose-built environment for learning, reflection, and community. The campus includes seminar halls, dining facilities, and on-site accommodation.
